PhD Talent Stakeholder Meeting: Connect with the world beyond academia!

On November 14, 2024 the doctoral schools of Hasselt university are organising a PhD Talent Stakeholder Engagement Meeting, together with the four other Flemish Universities. The aim of this meeting is to connect researchers with companies and several organisations. In this way, we want to bridge the gap between academia and the non-academic world. Join us to connect and exchange with peer-researchers from the five Flemish universities and companies from the non-academic labour market looking for PhD talent. This year’s edition is called ‘A self-leadership picnic for hungry minds’.

An important part of preparing for any further professional step is becoming (more) aware of the competences you have developed and/or want to develop. In the current workshop, the following competences from the UHasselt competency overview are actively dealt with:

• For early career researchers ( ≥ 2nd year of PhD trajectory) & postdoctoral researchers affiliated with 1 of the Flemish universities
