Do you have interesting ideas or opinions which could contribute to a strong PhD community
within Hasselt University? Then share your voice and become a member of the
PhD council! This council is open for official (and future) PhD representatives and for any PhD student who would like to
engage in many interesting meetings. Interestingly, any PhD student can take the role of representative. The council has a three-fold approach. First, it fights for the interests of PhD students at meetings organized by the university's various committees and boards. Second, the council holds bi-monthly gatherings where PhD students share possible issues they face. Afterwards, these issues are communicated to the responsible department at UHasselt by the council's representatives. Third, the council wishes to start organizing community building activities such as after-work drinks.
