The mentoring programme at UHasselt is aimed at supporting junior researchers in their further career development. It is a one-on-one interaction between an experienced mentor and a less experienced mentee. PhD students in the second half of their PhD trajectory may apply for a 'civic' mentor for the duration of one year.
'Civic' mentoring refers to mentoring towards successfully entering the external labour market, by someone from a non-academic organization (small/large company, government, hospital, social sector, ...). The duration of the mentoring trajectory is typically one year.
More details on the programme, the selection procedure and the timeline may be found here. You need to be available on January 12, 2023 (13:00-18:00), for an introductory workshop, during which you define the profile of your preferred mentor. Application deadline: November 27, 2022.
Hasselt University wants to become more sustainable. Do you want to contribute to sustainability at Hasselt University? Do you want to help our Green Office on certain topics or maybe organise a session open to all (PhD)students? Let us know! Contact: kim.engelen@uhasselt.be.
