1. The interuniversity Job market for young researchers

Join us at the live Job market for young researchers at Flanders Expo Ghent on 27/03/25 (12:00-19:00). Prepare by attending a series of online lunchtime sessions with participating companies and organisations to explore their company culture, job opportunities and much more. As part of the online preparatory programme, you can have your CV reviewed and discuss your career aspirations on 13/03/25. Appointments with CV reviewers and career coaches are now open. Don't wait and secure your spot for an online CV check and/or an online speed career coaching session on 13/03/25.

2. Information videos PhD

Exciting news! We have launched a brand-new series of information videos designed to support you on your PhD journey. Whether you are just starting or looking for guidance on training & coaching, managing your doctoral file, general support & resources or information about the doctoral school portfolio & minimal requirements, these videos cover everything you need to guide you through your doctoral journey at our university. We encourage you to explore these videos—they are packed with useful insights and tips to help you succeed. Should you have any questions or require further assistance, feel free to reach out to the doctoral school team, contact us via the generic email addresses or connect with the respective responsible person.

3. Meet the jury seminars

Are you planning your doctoral defence in the near future? Does your jury consist of internationally renowned experts? Grab this opportunity to organize a lecture by one of your external jury members, open for PhD researchers from different research groups at UHasselt and in the wider Flanders region. You can apply for financial support to (partly) recover travel expenses. The selection criteria and procedure can be found here.
