Education

The education platform focuses on initiatives to strengthen education. We investigate how the MS expertise of the center is embedded in the regular courses of Hasselt University (including medicine, biomedical sciences, rehabilitation sciences and physiotherapy) and the courses of PXL.

In addition, the education platform organizes professional training based on the expertise of the university MS center (e.g. neurology training) and workshops regarding interdisciplinary teamwork and work integration.

Representatives of the previous mentioned courses together with paramedical staff of Noorderhart have meetings on a regular basis. Prof.dr. Peter Feys is the chair of this platform; dr. Ilse Lamer, a second regional coordinator of the UMSC, supports him in the elaborations of the platform.
