We kindly invite you to join the ‘Meet the Jury’ seminar, featuring international speakers to discuss their research on 'Meet the jury seminar: A social network perspective: Navigating challenges and cultivating peer support among STEM students'.

This masterclass will be given by:

  • Dr Jasperina Brouwer

Jasperina Brouwer is an assistant professor at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, specialized in group dynamics, social capital and social networks in education and professional (healthcare) settings. Drawing from her expertise acquired through four master’s degrees, including educational sciences (cum laude), developmental psychology (summa cum laude), research methodology (cum laude), and health sciences (cum laude), her research delves into student learning trajectories and professional development. Beyond employing quantitative and qualitative research methods, she conducts longitudinal social network research, exploring selection and influence mechanisms in small group teaching. Additionally, she analyses social interactions within longitudinally collected team and ego networks of health care professionals.
