Company visit Van Havermaet: an inside view of the corporate world in a consultancy firm - 2024

Around 90% of PhD holders in Belgium continue their careers beyond academia. Business careers differ from academic ones: in business, people typically work in rapidly changing contexts, take considerable risks, focus on attitude rather than on knowledge, and work together with different kinds of profiles.

To build bridges between the world of research and enterprises, Hasselt University and Voka – KvK Limburg join forces by organising company visits during which junior researchers (PhD students and postdocs) are given the opportunity to discover the ins and outs of a company. These visits will consist of a guided tour, a talk, Q&A session and networking opportunity during lunch.

After a successful JAGA company visit earlier this year, Van Havermaet opens its doors to researchers as well!

Van Havermaet is a versatile consultancy firm with legal, economic and HR-profiles. A professional life at Van Havermaet consists of a good work-life balance and leaves room for growth.
