Content

As AI technology becomes more sophisticated, it is starting to play an increasingly important role in professional and business communication. In this interactive workshop, we will explore how academic staff can use Large Language Models (LLMs) to write texts.

In the first part of the workshop, we will explore how Large Language Models work, explaining not only their strengths but also their current weaknesses. We will then look at how academic professionals can optimally prompt generative AI models to write a wide range of texts. We will also explore the tools that applications such as ChatGPT or Claude offer to help authors write more efficiently and better. Finally, we will discuss some of the challenges and risks associated with using AI in a business context, such as copyright and data privacy.

Learning outcomes
