Whether you are a starting PhD student or a more experienced postdoc, you might face certain challenges during your academic career. The main purpose of this event is to provide information and tools that could help to get a better grip on your work-life balance and mental health. The session therefore entails short presentations about various supportive services at UHasselt. Afterwards, a speed date will take place where you can talk about several topics with your colleagues. Are you curious to find out what’s on someone’s bucket list? Do you want to share tips & tricks with others that help to combat stress? Join us at the speed date to get to know your fellow UHasselt University colleagues and to meet new researchers within the organization!
Programme:
9:30-10:30: Introduction & presentation of supportive services at UHasselt
10:30-11:00: Break
11:00-12:00: Speed date
The session is organised in English. The language of the speeddate will, however, depend on who is sitting in front of you. We ask Dutch-speaking participants to switch to English if necessary.
This event is part of the two-day initiative ‘Wellbeing inside-out’. During this wellbeing programme on October 10 & 11 the Doctoral Schools join forces with the HR department & team Vitality. 'Wellbeing inside-out' consists of various sessions focusing on mental, physical and social wellbeing, since these 3 are inextricably linked.
