Design Framework for flexible assembly with operator VR validation (Research)
Abstract
The main project goal is to provide the necessary insights and tools to incorporate flexibility as an important parameter in the design process of assembly workstations, resulting in a design framework for flexible assembly workstations that supports design engineers and involves operators. That structured approach will allow companies to assess and exploit the possible flexibility gain of novel flexible assembly technologies and IoT interconnections to its full potential.
