"Soil and Land Stewardship Building "and the possible role for the OVAM soil management policy (Research)

Soil and land are valuable and vulnerable (ie very slowly renewable) resources that provide vital services to humans and the planetary ecosystem. Due to the increasing influence of people, they are under pressure and it is badly needed to protect them, to manage them and to restore them where necessary. This both preventive (prevention of damage) and curative (repairing damage). How can the stewardship principle strengthen the soil management policy?
