Title
The civic internship as the conclusion to the civic reflection learning pathway (Education)
Abstract
The Architecture program has been writing their own civic story for years. The program wants to employ the current master curriculum reform to turn this story into a story supported by colleagues and students. To support this, this innovative education project (IOP) proposes to develop a civic reflection learning pathway that encourages students to critically reflect on the role they want-can play as a designer in a region with specific social (and spatial) challenges. It wants to develop this learning pathway by learning to apply the problem-driven project based learning methodology to the internship course unit.
