Francqui chair prof. dr. Zeger Debyser (Research)
Abstract
Within the framework of the Francqui Chair, Professor Debyser will provide five lessons at UHasselt in the broad domain of molecular biology and gene therapy and its medical applications. The specific themes will be agreed by our Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in consultation with him. The inaugural lesson will be aimed at a wide audience of (bio) doctors and other scientists from our university, our educational partners, local biotech companies and the (bio) medical world. At least one lesson will be specifically aimed at young researchers and master's students.
