Qualitative research of the socio-econmic network in Limburg with the aim of setting up a project development with Economic Clusters in Limburg (Research)

POM Limburg wants to set up a series of projects around Economic Clusters in Limburg. These Clusters should enable municipalities to tackle economic challenges together, where individual municipalities lack scale. The assignment consists of two parts: (1) conduct a qualitative study of the socio-economic fabric in Limburg based on conversations with experts and stakeholders who know the local fabric and (2) develop scenarios for Economic Clusters in Limburg on the scale of municipalities and business parks. The proposal is to work with 3 types of maps - maps of economic dynamics, maps of socio-economic networks and maps of spatial-economic systems - and to use these maps to structure 2 interview rounds. The first interview round should result in an analysis of the current socio-economic fabric of Limburg and the second should result in a series of validated scenarios for Economic Clusters
