Impact of global environmental change on biodiversity, biogeochemical cycles and associated ecosystem services (Research)
Abstract
Nadia works at the intersection of ecology and environmental sciences. Her research aims to obtain a quantitative, process-based understanding of dynamics of natural ecosystems along natural and human-induced gradients of environmental stresses, with a particular emphasis on climate change. Therefore her research focuses on interactions between plants and soil microorganisms, their links to the above and belowground biodiversity and their impacts on biogeochemical cycles and provisioning of associated ecosystem services.
