Title
Development of a new type of temperature sensor with application in industry. (Research)
Abstract
Temperature measurements play a crucial role in human healthcare. Also in many
industrial applications, temperature plays an important factor, and should therefore be
monitored and controlled. Consequently, there is a high demand for accurate and
reliable temperature sensors. The aim of this project is to develop a new type of
temperature sensor that returns more valuable temperature data by taking in to account
the quality of the thermal contact between the object and the sensor. In a later stage,
this research will investigate the industrial applicability of this sensor in collaboration
with an industrial partner.
