Title
Effect of multiple recycling on the properties of polyolefin films (MultiRec) (Research)
Abstract
MultiRec aims to investigate and understand the material changes in polyethylene due to multiple mechanical recycling and recycled content. The focus will be put on application oriented investigation of these material changes, and their effect on film extrusion (blown and cast), sealing properties and stretch and shrink properties of the material. The project will set up a guideline for the use of recyclates consisting of a large set of material properties for recycled polyethylene at different recycling levels/recycling contents and the processing windows of the material in the respective applications.
