IOF mandaat Rehabilitation Sciences (RWS) 2024-2028 (Research)

This IOF-mandate project supports REVAL in her mission to create value within the field of rehabilitation, leading to the optimisation of functioning of individuals throughout their lifespan, specifically in the context of societal and economic impact. The project aims to promote economic and societal valorisation by increasing activities through collaborations with and providing services for third parties, including both clinical and industrial partners. At first, the mandate will focus on increasing engagement of researchers to valorisation-related activities. Next, actions of the mandate will improve visibility and are aimed at strengthening and expanding the institutional, regional and (inter)national network. With a focus on development of technology, expertise and (big) data, REVAL will become an appealing partner to collaborate with. Using the platforms REVAL Technologies and REVAL Services, these operational goals will lead to valorisation-related output such as joined research projects and consultancy agreements, leading to increase in 3rd and 4rth money stream. As a young research entity, REVAL strives to increase involvement in European funded projects, as well as development of intellectual property that can be licensed
