Persons with a disability in relationship property law (Research)
Abstract
The doctoral research focuses on persons with disabilities in relationship property law, with an emphasis on marriage and legal cohabitation. The interaction between the common law protection system and the protection mechanisms within relationship property law is examined. To this end, interests are analysed at three levels: the incapacitated partner, family interests and the interests of the other partner. The aim of the study is to provide concrete recommendations for an adapted legal framework, based on both
legal dogmatic, comparative law and social science research.
