Title
ToxLearn4EU summer school on risk assessment and communication. (Education)
Abstract
Summer school organized at Hasselt University from June 29 th to July 6 th 2024 in collaboration with Maastricht University in the context of the Erasmus+ project ToxLearn4EU (2021-1-FR01-KA220-HED- 000030081). The summer school is targeted at PhD students and includes interactive lectures from international experts on various topics related to risk assessment. Furthermore, guided visits to the Ecotron (UHasselt), HADES (SCK CEN) and VITO are organized. Throughout the summer school, students work on case studies related to risk assessment of air pollution and radiotoxicity and present their results in a press conference at the end of the week.
