Enseignement en science médicales de base: formation des maitres, évaluation standardisée et mise en place d'un réseau de compétences et d'enseignement à distance (Education)

This project aims at reinforcing the teaching capacities in basic medical sciences in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Three major goals will be pursued: 1/ to help renewing basic medical courses and adapting them to ICT, including distance learning (this is the follow up of an existing project between UHasselt, KULeuven and UNIKIN), 2/ to set up a competence network in universitary medical teaching methods (UNIKIN will be the centre of such a network which also includes the universities of Bukavu, Kisangani and Lubumbashi), 3/ to develop an automated exam correction system for large groups in the participating universities in Congo. The first and third goals are short term (to be achieved within the project term), the second one is more long term.
