Title
VAXINFECTIO to suppress and prevent zymotic diseases (Research)
Abstract
The treatment and prevention of bacterial and viral infections is focussed on the Methusalem-project VAXINFECTIO. In this project one will investigate antibiotica resistence, anti-tumor reactions of white blood cells, the evaluation of vaccinations and the socio-economical aspects of the use of antibiotica. The "Vaccin- en Infectieziekten Instituut (VIDI)" of the Universiteit Antwerpen os working closely together with the "Centrum voor Statistiek" of the Universiteit Hasselt.
