Research on travel behaviour in Flanders: supporting and controling assignment and analysis (Research)

In Flanders, OVGs remain one of the most appropriate instruments for obtaining data on the mobility of persons. The need for these data is indisputable and pressing. Since these data are often the source of many applications, it is vital to ensure the quality and analysis of the collected data. By order of the Flemish Government, IMOB will be responsible for a period of five years for the analysis, review and supervision of the OVG. The assignment consists of 2 big tasks, namely: (i) controling and supervising data collection and (ii) doing analysis. Doing analysis means making and interprating the trnasport tables.
