Composition course content 'field trips and internship' within the academic education biology and geography (Research)

Abstract

In higher education, the content of the course unit 'excursion and field training "in various biology courses, is completed primarily by the expertise of the supervisors. This expertise can be very different because of the followed training and research interests, but also because of the location of the school. This initiative aims to merge the various expertises of the course supervisors and editors of the various universities into one course to maximize the offered knowledge gathering. This will allow the students to come into contact with different kinds of knowledge, but also with the various practical applications on nature conservation and nature conservation, aspects in landscape ecology, environmental law, environmental management, ... of theoretical knowledge in both regions.
