Surface modification of materials (Research)

By organizing seminars and symposia relating to "Surface Modification of Materials," the scientific research community wants to (i) establish a better contact - and maintain it! - between the various Flemish research units within this domain, and (ii) give them the opportunity to discuss their research with international experts in the field thoroughly. The mutual cooperation between both partners can express itself both through the joint implementation of experiments, which in many cases leads to the joint publication of the results, and in applying for joint projects. Regular one-or two-day symposia bring together a number of internationally renowned speakers, which explain a specific topic in more detail. This topic can be selected through research topic as trough research method. Finally, the scientific research community shall be responsible for the dissemination of all relevant information relating to activities associated with surface modification of materials.
