Pieter Schevenels received both the M.Sc. degree and the Ph.D. degree in Building Engineering from the KU Leuven (Catholic University of Leuven) in 2006 and 2011.
He specialized in building acoustics. From 2008 till 2010, he was working at the Belgian Building Research Institute in the division of Acoustics.
In 2009, Pieter began teaching the courses on acoustics at the Provinciale Hogeschool Limburg, which immersed in the University of Hasselt in 2013.
In 2012, he started his own engineering office called PS-Acoustics, also specialized in building acoustics, which takes most of his time.
