Critical junior scholar network - 2024

On October 11, 2024, the Critical Junior Scholar (CJS) Network is hosting another session. The CJS network is an interdisciplinary and interuniversity network for young researchers who are (interested in) using critical theory or methodology in their work. It offers researchers the opportunity to discuss their work with like-minded others.
During the October session, two researchers will present the papers they are currently working on. Here, we can discuss the critical theories and/or methodologies they have used and provide feedback.

• Sanne Pieters: "The many faces of natural beauty: evaluations of physical beauty in Brussels.”
• Naïké Garny: "When power is key: a reflexive perspective to study women's migration in Belgium.”

Afterwards, lunch will be provided by the network itself.

• The activity will take place on October 11, 2024 - 10:00-13:00.

Where?

• The session will take place at Campus VUB, Brussels
