Content

Internships play a pivotal role in a student's academic journey. As a PhD student or postdoc, you hold a crucial role in guiding and coaching these students during their internships, making you an integral part of our educational program. To empower you with the skills and knowledge to be effective coaches during internships, we organize the workshop "Effective Coaching for Internship Supervisors".

You will learn how to provide meaningful and constructive feedback to help interns grow and excel in their roles. Additionally, we will provide strategies for handling challenging conversations and resolving conflicts within the internship environment. Finally, you will gain a better understanding of how to evaluate intern performance fairly.

This workshop will help you become an even more valuable mentor to the students during their internships. You will be better equipped to guide them through the challenges they encounter, ultimately contributing to their success in this critical phase of their academic journey.

This workshop is for PhD students and postdocs that guide internships (bachelorproef, junior or senior) in biomedical sciences.
