PhD efficiency week 2024 (REC): PhD template - 2024

This course is a part of the PhD efficiency week 2024 (25/03/24 - 29/03/24) organized by for PhD students of the Faculty of Law. Other courses included in this trajectory are:

• Methodology in the framework of legal PhD research
• Reference management for legal research purposes
• Legal posters: How to present your research in a clear and comprehensible way
• Methodology: Working with Legaltech Legidex
• PhD pitch and roundtable

In this workshop, our presenters will give an overview of the practical side of presenting your finished PhD by using the PhD template and explain the tips and tricks of the template (where to find it, how to use it, etc.).

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• identify where and how to use the PhD template
• integrate the PhD template into their final dissertation

Competences

An important part of preparing for any further professional step is becoming (more) aware of the competences you have developed and/or want to develop. In the current workshop, the following competences from the UHasselt competency overview are actively dealt with:

• personal effectiveness
• task-orientedness
