Meet the Jury seminars

Content

'Meet the Jury seminars' are lectures by internationally renowned experts, who are invited at UHasselt as external member of a PhD jury. The lectures are open to PhD researchers from different research groups at UHasselt and from other universities in Flanders.

The seminars will automatically be added to the portfolio of the PhD students who signed the attendance list. They can be acknowledged as:

  • DS BSH - category 'advanced discipline-specific knowledge'
  • DS ST - category 'advanced discipline-specific knowledge' - seminar from an external speaker
  • DS HLS - (only if duration > 3h) category 'scientific skills' - half a technical skills course

If you would like to organize a seminar given by one of your jury members, you can find the application procedure here.
