13.265 euro for Student Welfare Fund

In celebration of Hasselt University's 50th anniversary, theatre group Het nieuwstedelijk created the play Mooie jaren (Beautiful years) - a chronicle of our time. Looking back at the past half-century, it tells the story of a generation of friends who discovered life, love and a world in constant change. The performance came about in co-production with Hasselt University, who commissioned Het nieuwstedelijk to create a performance about the impact of the past 50 years on our region in full transition.

Income fees went partly to the UHasselt University Fund and will be used towards projects that promote the well-being of Hasselt University students. The performances across Flanders raised a respectable sum of €13,265 for the Student Welfare Fund - for which many thanks.
