Laura Leten obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Hasselt University in 2022. As part of her Bachelor’s thesis, she worked on the synthesis of push-pull conjugated polymers for truly transparent organic photovoltaics in the DSOS group. For her Master’s, she continued at KU Leuven, where she graduated “Magna Cum Laude” in 2024. She performed her Master’s thesis in Prof. Guy Koeckelberghs's group, focusing on optimizing the connectivity and stability of polythiophenes for thermoelectrics. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry within the DSOS group. Her research focuses on optimizing donor and acceptor materials for RAINBOW organic photovoltaics.
