Behnam Ghalami Choobar received his Bachelor and Master in Chemical engineering in 2012 and 2014, respectively, from Sharif University of Technology (Iran). He received his PhD in Chemical engineering in 2021 from Amirkabir University of Technology (Iran). In his Bachelor thesis, he worked on the surge control of centrifugal compressors. During his Master thesis, he worked on the adaptive nonlinear control of HIV-1 infection . In his PhD thesis, he used multiscale simulation, namely quantum chemistry, molecular dynamics and macroscopic simulation, to obtain deep insight into molecular interactions, and established a connection between molecular structure of electrolyte constituents and macroscopic performance of lithium-ion batteries. He joined the group of electrochemical engineering in Feb 2022 as a postdoctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof. Safari to work on the multi-scale modeling of advanced batteries.
