Saeed Yari is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow and project leader in the group of Electrochemical Engineering and working on post-Li-ion batteries. He received his Bachelor in Materials Engineering in 2010 from the University of Tabriz (Iran) and a Master degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Tehran (Iran) in 2013. In his Master thesis he worked on electrodeposition and characterization of nano-composite coatings. In Feb 2017, he joined the group of Electrochemical Engineering as a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. M. Safari. His research included the understanding of heterogeneity in the battery porous electrodes, dynamics and mechanisms of cell aging, as well as in-situ characterization techniques.
