Suresh Ajmeera

Suresh Ajmeera (1996) attained his master’s degree in Chemistry from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India, in 2019. There and then, after his master’s degree, he joined as a research trainee at the National Institute of Science Education and Research in India (September 2019 - Feb 2021), where he worked on a project to design and synthesize novel drug delivery systems to target cancer. In December 2021, he joined as a PhD student in the research group Nanobiophysics and Soft Matter Interfaces at the Institute for Materials Research (IMO-IMOMEC) at Hasselt University. His present research focuses on the synthesizing and characterizing dual-responsive nanocapsules for tissue regeneration and other biomedical applications. His hobbies include playing handball and watching movies.
