2020-12-02: Muscle Premium, a comprehensive 3D atlas of muscles.

In continuation of our subscription to Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy and the previous acquisition of the Human Anatomy Atlas, the University Library has now proceeded with the acquisition of Muscle Premium.

Muscle Premium comprises 3D models of the muscular and skeletal systems, allowing users to isolate and remove structures. For each muscle, its associated movement is demonstrated, and it also includes 3D models of commonly encountered pathologies that physiotherapists typically work with. Additionally, Muscle Premium features short videos created by renowned physiotherapists, explaining body biomechanics as well as the occurrence of pathologies within the human body.

Muscle Premium can be accessed both on and off campus. Please note that when using this module for the first time, loading may take a few minutes due to the robust graphic content. Kindly consider this.
