2021-01-12: Subscription to the French legal database Lexis 360.

Since 12th January 2021, the University of Hasselt has had access to the French legal database Lexis 360.

Lexis 360 is a significant database for French legislation, case law, and legal doctrine. It includes more than 60 JurisClasseur encyclopedias, over 35 legal journals, 50+ legal codes, numerous judgments, and more. This new subscription further expands the range of available international legal e-resources.

Please Note
Keep in mind that access to this database requires dual authentication. On one hand, you need to be on the UHasselt IP range (so work off-campus via VPN or through the proxy link on the library website). On the other hand, you need a personal username and password, which you have to create yourself.

Instructions to create a personal username and password:

  • Click on the 'Se connecter' button on the Lexis 360 homepage.
  • On the right side of the page under 'Première visite?' click on 'Créer votre compete'.
  • Follow the instructions to create your personal username and password. Note: When prompted to enter your email address, it MUST be your UHasselt email address.
  • For subsequent visits, simply enter your username and password.
