2024-04-15: Access 420 journals via Cambridge Core

As of April 2024 students and faculty of Hasselt University will have access to the full online journal portfolio (some 420 titles) published by Cambridge University Press.

UHasselt researchers who choose to publish in open access in one of these journals between 2024 and 2026 can do so without cost. This is made possible by a rather exceptional agreement with CUP, where the waiver of article processing charges (APCs) is linked to the license for the journal package. More information about this agreement can be found here. The Cambridge Core journal package presents a comprehensive collection of peer-reviewed academic journals covering a vast array of disciplines, from the sciences and engineering to the humanities, law, and social sciences.

This extensive repository is designed to support the academic and research endeavors of students and research staff at all levels. With its broad coverage, the Cambridge Core provides access to cutting-edge research and the latest developments in various fields, facilitating a deeper understanding and engagement with current academic debates and innovations.
