I am a teaching assistant for the Master of Materiomics at Hasselt University, Faculty of Science. The master is designed for students passionate about developing sustainable and innovative materials to tackle increasingly complex materials-related societal issues like the energy transition, finite resources, changing industrial processes,... An interdisciplinary backbone is intertwined with the Master of Materiomics, wherein students are trained to build bridges between chemistry and physics as well as between experimental and theoretical, computational methods. There are four possible areas of specialization: Quantum, Energy, Circularity, or Health.
My educational/research background: I have a PhD in Chemistry, with a specialization in polymer characterization by means of thermal analysis and X-ray scattering techniques.
