Abdurrahim Can Egil(°1995) received his bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from Yıldız Technical University, Turkey. He was awarded by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey for his own project about nanoparticle mediated antibacterial and antimicrobial surfaces. He completed his master's degree in the Materials Science and Nanoengineering Department at Sabancı University, Turkey, In January, 2022, he started his PhD in the Nanobiophysics and Soft Matter Interfaces group at the imo-imomec facility at Hasselt University. His research focuses on stimuli-responsive polymeric nanomaterials to be utilized as controlled drug delivery systems on nanomedicine applications.
