Carolina Previdi Mesquita Barroso

Carolina Previdi Mesquita Barroso (°2002) is a Pharmacy bachelor student in the University of São Paulo (Brazil). During High School period, she joined a pre-scientific initiation program and did a research project in genetically modified shrimps; and in graduation, completed a Scientific Initiation scholarship period at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology Applied to Diagnosis with research focused on compounds against 3CL-like protease for COVID-19 therapy. In December 2021, she joined as an undergraduate research student in the research group Nanobiophysics and Soft Matter Interfaces at the Institute for Materials Research (imo-imomec) at Hasselt University and works on biopolymer based stimuli-responsive(ROS) drug delivery nanocarriers for cancer therapy.
