Senne Seneca (°1993) received his master's degree in Biomedical Sciences - Bioelectronics and Nanotechnology with highest distinction from Hasselt University in 2016. In December 2017, he was awarded a prestigious SB PhD Fellowship from the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO), affiliated to Hasselt University within the Nanobiophysics and Soft Matter Interfaces group at the Institute for Materials Research (imo-imomec). His research focuses on the use of multifunctional nanocarriers towards advances in cellular therapy and regenerative medicine.
He is currently associated with the NSI group as a guest researcher (vrijwillig wetenschappelijk medewerker).
