Arwin Goossens obtained his bachelor's degree in physics at the University of Hasselt in 2020. After this, he went to KU Leuven where he obtained his master's degree in physics, with a major in theoretical physics, in 2022. For his thesis, he simulated the dynamics of structural maintenance of chromosomes (SMC) proteins with DNA to which large obstacles were linked. Currently, Arwin works on his Ph.D. in physics at the OOE group at IMO where his research interests are mainly the characterization and fundamental understanding of the operation of organic electrochemical transistors.
