Our team brings extensive expertise in motor learning and control, particularly regarding age-related changes in inhibitory processes, motor area interactions, and interlimb coordination. Our lab is equipped with the latest technology and expertise, including:

  • High Definition Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS)
  • High Definition Transcranial Alternating Current Stimulation (tACS)
  • Neuronavigated (Dual-Site) Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
  • Electroencephalogram (EEG)
  • Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS)
  • Electromyography (EMG)

Research:

The NeuroChronometrics is mostly related to the following research themes:

The NeuroChronometrics Lab supports a variety of research projects and collaborations, including:

  • Inter-University Ultra-HIgh-Field MRI Centre Flanders (In2U):
a framework that realizes the installation of the 7T MRI scanner in Flanders.

Services and collaborations:

We offer a comprehensive suite of services, including:

  • Advanced Brain Activity Measures: Detailed assessments of brain function.

  • Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation Techniques: Innovative methods to stimulate brain activity safely and effectively.

  • Non-Invasive Brain Imaging Techniques: State-of-the-art imaging to visualize brain activity and connectivity.

  • Voluntary Drive Measurements: Brain assessments in context of motor tasks.

  • Holistic Human Behavior Assessments: Integrating NeuroChronometrics Lab capabilities with other REVAL technology platforms for comprehensive evaluations.

We offer a variety of collaboration options:
