Inaugural symposium on the occasion of the recent expansion of the UHasselt Advanced Optical Microscopy Centre (AOMC) with state of the art equipment for Large-Field-of-View Widefield Fluorescence Microscopy and Single-Molecule-Sensitive Fluorescence Spectroscopy.
In this symposium, six renowned international speakers will talk about how they developed and/or applied cutting-edge fluorescence methodologies in their biomedical, biological or microbiology research.
Covered methods will include Light-sheet Fluorescence Microscopy, In vivo Double-objective Microscopy, Single-molecule FRET, Hydrogen-Deuterium Mass Spectrometry, Protein NMR, In situ Electrophysiology, Biomolecular Modelling, and many more…
Prepare yourself for a journey through the worlds of neuroscience, intestinal function, protein sorting, DNA repair and endocytosis, in which our excellent speakers will clarify the crucial need for fluorescence and other biophysical methods to solve today’s pressing research questions.
Participants can also register for a hands-on demonstration of the two new systems at the AOMC. You can even bring your own samples if discussed well in advance!
But this is not all! Registrants can discuss their poster during the coffee breaks, lunch and reception, and engage in evening discussions during dinner in the beautiful downtown Hasselt area!
Registration closes on August 19th.
