Acquire ultrahigh resolution images of your biological samples or nanotechnology, polymer, and advanced materials. This compact TEM combines excellent resolution and ease of use. Couple functional fluorescence imaging with ultrastructural TEM information in Correlative Light Electron Microscopy (CLEM) to gain in-depth knowledge on a subcellular and molecular level
To acquire data on this microscope, please contact Esther Wolfs.
Thank you for acknowledging our imaging resources. You can use the statement below in all your publications that include data acquired on the Jeol JEM-1400Flash:
Transmission electron microscopy was made possible by the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO, grant I000220N)
The JEM-1400Flash is a compact and user-friendly TEM, largely recognized for high-resolution imaging and analysis, as well as its ease of use. To smoothly transition from low to high magnification and acquire higher-throughput image data, the JEM-1400Flash has an integrated high-sensitivity sCMOS camera and an ultra-wide area montage system.
For CLEM, a digital image acquired with an optical microscope can be overlaid on a TEM image. This technique combines spatiotemporal information from a fluorescence/confocal microscope with high-resolution structural data from TEM. Hence, CLEM combines functional information with ultrastructural information to gain in-depth knowledge on a subcellular and molecular level.
we offer sample preparation services for a wide range of TEM applications. Please contact us to discuss which methods are best suited for your project.
